[ENG] 3rd Bazaar J-Fashion in São Paulo

This Sunday, 18, Ill be going to the 3rd Bazar J-Fashion in São Paulo. It was the first time I heard about it, thanks to who suggested we meet there so I can pick up the dress I bought from her. It was not only a great idea but gave me the opportunity to actually look out for other stuff and sell some I dont use. 

The idea of the bazaar is to sell or trade different items from alternative japanese fashion. Most of the items are used but they have to be clean and in mint condition. Apparently it goes from clothes to accessories, fashion magazines, makeup and also doll's and bjds stuff. 

Im going to take some handmade bottoms, a coat that doesnt fit my coords, some old Keras and Gothic Lolita magazines and some other stuff I will collect here that I dont use. Maybe I can either trade or sell and make good deals there.

Im really excited about it since I never went on any meetings and other related events where I can find Lolita and J-Fashion. Except like...7 years ago, when we were too young and this style was still growing in our community.

It is also asked of everyone to brink something to eat or drink, which is extra cool and very cute. That way the staff doesnt get all pilled up with stuff to do, and it turns out to be a very big and well purposed pic-nic! 

The fee is only R$5 to pay the rent for the space (which is nothing but fair) and there are some rules and guidances for everyone that wishes to be part of it that is really important for you to read if you are planning on going.

From what I've seen in posts about the previous two editions (here and here on Ribbon Land's Blog) it has been a total success. They have worked with odds, experienced what works and what doesnt and the staff seam to be really prepared for this one. 

I'm going to meet with Rabiruchi and Nanah, two of my oldest friends, who are going with me and Audrey(I simply love this name @_@), writer of the blog Pastel Jelly Beans , who I actually met in a course we took almost two years ago about South Korea. She is a sweetheart with a very good taste in fashion and also made some stuff for sale (that I already have in my buying list :x). Also Im going to meet with the owner of the Alpaquita's Melody Store and Karine from MySubarashiiLoliDays who sold me stuff and seam to be both quite lovely in person.

[PT] Alpacasso!

Arpakasso ou Alpacasso são plushies de alpaca criados no Japão. Originalmente encontrado em UFO Catchers (aquelas máquinas de bichinho com uma garra que você manipula para tentar capturar um), aos poucos foram se tornando populares por colecionadores e agora são encontrados também em sites sendo revendidos. 

Um alpacasso genuíno é feito pela marca AMUSE. Qualquer outra alpacasso que não tem a etiqueta da marca não é um original e pode ser um bootleg de um design original. Não chega a ser uma coisa necessariamente negativa: os preços são mais baratos, e os raros são assim mais fáceis de encontrar, mas também não são tão bem feitinhos, e pra quem gosta de ter produtos 100% originais é algo para se prestar atenção.

Arpakasso ou Alpacasso geralmente têm dois looks diferentes: alpacas normais e alpacas bebê. Muitas vezes os confundem com ovelhas, mas são alpacas ou llamas(quando tem orelhas mais longas). 

Eu consegui meu primeiro plushie de alpaca através de uma revendedora brasileira. Eu não sei se ela é a primeira ou a única, mas foi com certeza a primeira vez que eu vi sendo vendido em lingua tupi e com acesso fácil em território nacional. 

Para quem prefere comprar direito em dolar eu encontrei um site muito bom, RuRu Victoria, que também vende outros tipos de plushie que são uma g-r-a-c-i-n-h-a. Pelo que pude conferir pelo Tumblr o feedback desta loja é 100% positivo.

Agora, para quem prefere pagar em real, eu recomendo pessoalmente a Alpaquitas Melody.  Uma revendedora não só dessas lindinhas alpacas e llamas, como também de diversos produtos para Lolitas. Os preços são muito justos pelo que eu comparei aos valores em dolar e você tem a comodidade de pagar em parcelas, depósito, Paypal ou PagSeguro dentro do próprio site de vendas. 

A comunicação com a vendedora foi excelente, e ela me explicou tudo direitinho, além de ter sido super simpática. Eu compraria com ela novamente assim como recomendo para qualquer interessada, nas Alpacas ou em qualquer outro produto a pronta entrega.

Em menos de 3 dias após a confirmação da compra a Alpaquita já havia sido postada e estava a caminho de casa. Em menos de 1 semana da data da compra ela já estava aqui curtindo sua nova residência. 

Resultado desta experiência: tudo tranquilo, profissional e seguro.

[ENG] Decorations in Provencal Style

The origins of the Provencal style refer to the South of France 's Provence region . This sunny region composed of small villages are located between the mountains and sea and is known for its fields of lavender and sunflowers but mostly to preserve today features the country life of a distant past.

One explanation of how began the process of formation of the Provençal style of decoration is related to a sense of search for the essence of nobility. Also in the late 1700s many of the peasants in the Provence region , far from the French court that focused on Paris, longed to possess a house that had somehow into its decor a bit of symbols representing the true nobility. This directed the artisans of the region in search of something more simple, not dependent of the work of cabinetmakers of royalty in Paris that made furniture with lots of gold details and convoluted carvings.

The furniture in the Provencal style despite having been inspired by refined furniture style Louis XV and Louis XVI received more streamlined grooves and were made of wood from the region , getting a patina in light colors to mask minor flaws. These pieces with paint faded and slightly worn light shades were assimilated by most people , they soon started to recycle old pieces , adapting them to the style.

Since late november last year we started to work in the house, that looked pretty much the same since they bought it, 27 years ago. She started focusing on decorations soon after, and by the end of the year it reached my room. I am slowly redecorating it to this style. Adapting to the basics, but also to my suiting. Gradually I have changed the furniture of the room and much of the decoration items, but I still have most of the big items (like bed and escritoire) in commission.

I have caught several of these mobile in Mirella Mobili, since its a few blocks away from home, and the entire place feels like a fairy tale. Its interior decoration is absolutely the most magical way possible and the service is very pleasant. I have always been treated with care, kindness and dedication. Most of their products its a resale from Kleiner Schein's creations, a store I am completely in love with. If my grandmother wasnt so in love with her own decorations as well, I would ask to have the entire house by this designer. 

It is not cheap, but the price makes up for in quality of materials, workmanship and uniqueness. These are not ​​furniture batch made, these are almost exclusively mobile. And you can see the care in they work, even in the smallest details. So far the investment was large but worth it in functionality, appearance and added to my room that magical aspect of a princess room, even though I still have my big old furniture.

One of the things that is currently on my list of wishes for this room is a canopy. 

A canopy bed is a decorative bed somewhat similar to a four-poster bed. A typical canopy bed usually features posts at each of the four corners extending four feet high or more above the mattress. Ornate or decorative fabric is often draped across the upper space between the posts and a solid swath of cloth may create a ceiling, or canopy directly over the bed. The canopy bed came into existence more for utilitarian means rather than for extravagance or decadence. Canopy beds with curtains that could completely enclose the bed were used by lords and noblemen in medieval Europe for warmth and privacy, as their attendants often slept in the same room.

I've found one in this same store but I didnt like the design as much as everything else. I found some others on the internet, but nothing I fell in love with...(specially considering the prices). So I will probably have to commission one eventually :(

[PT] Compras por "bazares" no Facebook

Graças ao Facebook adquiri algumas peças esta semana. A partir dos grupos Lolita Dream ($ales) Brasil , Lolita Sales BR e Procura/Compra/Trocas Lolita . Os grupos são fechados então é necessário que alguém que já esteja aprovado aceite o seu requerimento. Porém não demora nem um dia pra isso acontecer, então é tranquilo. 

Todos os três grupos tem uma organização dos itens em categorias através de pastas de fotos. Quando um vendedor não coloca na pasta, os moderadores parecem avisar muito rápido para que arrumem o erro. Os anúncios nos três grupos são muito bem explicados (já que os três fornecem um modelo). 

Eu comprei um Stripe Garden One Piece M Black da Baby, The Stars Shine Bright, uma réplica de uma bolsa da Liz Lisa e uma tiara de flores(que foi gentilmente oferecida como brinde) da My Subarashii LoliDays (Página de Vendas Aqui), uma Anágua MeLikesTea Preta da MeLikesTai através de leilão e uma saia marrom da  Kazi Delacroix(Página de Vendas Aqui) Bodyline. 

Todas as três compras foram super tranquilas. Primeiro passo foi me informar com as vendedoras sobre a disponibilidade do produto, valor do frete, formas de pagamento. É muito importante se comunicar com a vendedora por mensagem, na minha opinião, mais do que por comentário; polui menos a página do grupo com spam e você pode negociar/discutir o produto/preço com mais privacidade. 

Eu não precisei conferir nenhum tipo de feedback das vendedoras por conta da tranquilidade do serviço e por elas terem sido absolutamente prestativas, claras e profissionais. Lembrando que elas são uma adepta, como nós, ao lifestyle, e não são propriamente uma loja, então o processo foi muito mais pessoal e natural do que esperar o retorno de uma entidade comercial. 

Eu estou acostumada a este tipo de transação através da internet, mas para quem não está, esses tipos de detalhes valhem muito! É muito importante você passar tranquilidade e confiança para uma compradora, ainda mais quando esse tipo de produto não é barato, e, como é de segunda mão, é muito temido por novatas. Então, se você é uma, eu recomendo não só os grupos como essas vendedoras em especial. 

A segunda compra aconteceu através de um processo de "leilão". A vendedora anunciou a saia através do Facebook, sugeriu um lance inicial, e nós oferecemos o nosso lance através dos comentários no post. Ela também estipula uma data de término do leilão, e eu tive sorte de encontrar o anúncio 30min antes de ele terminar conseguindo dar o lance final. Essa vencedora imediatamente atualizou o status do post, e assim que finalizado, entrou em contato comigo para resolver o pagamento e o frete.

Todas as três vendedoras ainda tem produtos a venda, não deixem de conferir.

Resultado desta experiência: tudo tranquilo e bastante seguro. Não vejo a hora de ter minhas coisinhas aqui! E assim que chegarem eu postarei fotos!

[PT]Novo JSK!

Enquanto eu fico aqui sonhando com o Lotta JSK, assim como toda uma comunidade de garotas, acabei encontrando um certo sonho de consumo de fawnies e não suportei: comprei com umas economias. Não deu pra resistir!

O Reserve R-Series Dear Friend JSK do R-Series que pode vir de uma loja do Taobao mas é absolutamente adorável, tem dois tons: mint e lavender. Acabei optando pelo Mint (mesmo que ruivas fiquem muito bem também em lilás) e comprei também as meias. 

A print foi lançada em comemoração aos 10 anos de existência da loja (puxa, eu não sabia que era uma loja tão antiga) e é um design original da série My Dear Little Friends. 

Eu fiz a compra através de um Shopping Service chamado My Lolita Dress que acabou me atraindo pela praticidade do serviço, todo online e ligado ao Paypal. É realmente como comprar de uma loja. Eles ganham uma boa tarifa em cima, cerca de 50 dólares, pelo JSK e meias, mas por conta de não conhecer ainda nenhum shopping service brasileiro, acabei arriscando. Também levei em consideração que no preço estavam incluídos os fretes da loja(na China) para o SS.

Apesar de não me arrepender dos valores, ainda acho que devo procurar conhecer alguns SS brasileiros. Se alguém tiver algum para recomendar, agradeço de verdade!
